Self selection and plant therapeutics

Caroline Ingraham is Director of the Ingraham Academy and founder of Applied Zoopharmacognosy, a new approach to animal welfare which gives domestic and captive animals the chance to ‘self-medicate’ as research shows they would in the wild.

A fascinating subject we hope will open the hearts and minds of all attending the conference to the suitability of the addition of plants within canine diets, for therapeutic or nutritional benefits and also in learning how to trust our dogs themselves to shape their own dietary needs through self selection.
